WordPress or WordPress?

You will find that most bloggers use and recommend WordPress. That is because it is the most adaptable platform available and can be used for any type of website imaginable.

The question really should be, will you choose to download software from wordpress.org, or will you choose to use WordPress with a provider?

Traditional bloggers prefer to have a self-hosted website by downloading the software and buying hosting separately. Their reason being they have complete control of their website.

I understand their reasoning, however, they are also their own WordPress programmer, tech support, and responsible for their own website backup files and security.

Many of these bloggers hire webmasters to do all of this for them. The webmasters have control of their website.
