The video below is a review created by a former member of Empower Network.

Please note I am not affiliated with nor do I sell Empower Network products and I am not paid to write this review. This is a review written for you to summarize the program based on my research from the information contained on their website http://www.empowernetwork.com.

What About Empower Network?

Products and Systems Offered:

  1. Affiliate System $19.95 per month
  2. Kalatu Blogging System $25 per month
    • Kalatu Premium membership additional $72 per month
  3. Inner Circle Membership $100 per month
  4. Top Producer Formula $500 one time purchase
  5. Team Building Formula $1000 one time purchase
  6. Mass Influence Formula $3,500 one-time purchase

There is potential to earn commissions at 70% of the price of products sold for affiliates and members and there is a “powerline” model to benefit from recruited member’s sales. Empower Network is a MLM (network marketer) and affiliate marketer.

I found the commission structure confusing and it contains what they call pass-ups. Which means the person that recruited you is awarded the bulk of the commission for what you sell. Also, in their structure, there are commissions only payable to you if you are a member of the product you sell and commissions are not paid on every sale but staggered in a way I am unable to reproduce for you. However, they do provide it in detail and include an Income Disclosure Statement here Empower Network Compensation Plan.

What about Empower Network? The Core Products:

Affiliate System $19.95 per month. In addition to the monthly fee, product sales are required to activate the commission structure on each of their products. You do that for each product by either purchasing the product yourself and maintaining the corresponding subscription fees or by generating one qualifying sale of the product. This is to activate the compensation plan only for each product.

The Kalatu Blogging System-Viral Blogging System $25 per month is advertised as an out of the box set-up for marketers that is customizable to be optimized by the online marketer. The object here is to provide an easy website solution in a package ready to use to promote Empower Network’s products and other products if you wish.

What About Empower Network?

Top Producer Formula $500 one-time purchase is a program to help you become a top producer. There is little information about it on the sales page.

What About Empower Network?

Team Building Formula $1,000 one-time purchase is a program to help you build a profitable team. There is little information about it on the sales page.

What About Empower Network?

Mass Influence Formula $3,500 one-time purchase is a program to teach you how to influence and persuade others. There is little information about it on the sales page.

What About Empower Network?

What About Empower Network? Here is my take on it:

The affiliate system. First there is a monthly fee just to be an affiliate for administrative costs, then in order to profit from selling a product, you must first buy it and maintain it yourself or sell it to someone else first. This is true for each product before you can begin earning a commission. What?

The blogging system seems rather limited for the money and it is not clear to me if they provide a unique domain name with the fees for either of their programs. (You must pay either for basic $25 per month or both basic and premium $25 + $72 per month.) I expect you would need to pay separately for a domain name.

Also, they insinuate that it is very expensive to start a website on your own and would need a website designer. This is not my experience. You can purchase your own domain name for as little as $3.95 or $12.95 per year on average depending you what you choose to name your website. Also, hosting is anywhere from about $5 to $20 per month on average depending on where you choose to have web hosting.

Even if a web host provides a template based easy to use out of the box website, you have to learn how to use it and there is still work involved in setting it up, writing content, setting it up for SEO and marketing it.

I would not want to be limited to a small number of themes to choose from and then have to pay an additional $72 a month to have more choices. Moreover, if you choose not to continue your membership, will you be able to move your website to another host? Or, will you have to abandon it and start from scratch?

What About Empower Network?

You can get a free website at wordpress.com, and learn how to create a basic website for free, go to NameCheap and get a decent name for about $10 per year and upgrade with WordPress for $19.95 per month. With that, you can have numerous themes to choose from, blog and market your heart out and have complete control over your website. There are other ways to do it, but this is in a nutshell for you.

Website building these days is not hard. The themes make it fairly easy for you customize. Usually, the hardest part is making a decision about what you want and where you want it. Figuring out how to do it can be done with a Google search and time spent reading and learning how to use the right free software or plugin.

As for Empower Network’s training, I watched a video about the Kalatu Blogging System and the training seems to be based on tutorials for using and setting up the website. Then there are the up-sells within the blogging package to participate in sales training. This seems confusing for someone brand new to blogging and affiliate marketing.

The membership and formula up-sells are something else to consider. $100 per month for audio files to get a positive mindset and motivation to sell Empower Network’s products? I am positive I will be keeping my money.

What about Empower Network? The real disappointments for me are the up-sells for their remaining three Top Producer, Team Building and Mass Influence Formulas for $500, $1,000 and $3,500 each respectively. To command that kind of money and provide so little information or a guide to what they contain on their sales pages is really just incomplete.

They may be wonderful programs, but I personally am not going to pay the money to find out with the hopes they will refund my money if I am not happy within 14 days of purchase. Now clearly some people have and do buy them. I wonder how many actually use, like and benefit from them? How many have regretted the purchase(s)? Have they been refunded their money? Did they request the refund in time? Good grief.
